Bison Fall Clinic

This season the Bison Wrestling Staff will be hosting their fall clinic at the Pennsylvania College of Technology to help the school as they revive their wrestling program.

Coaches Hoffman, Wirnsberger, Marble, and Carr will be teaching the system of wrestling that has produced 3 NCAA Division 1 All Americans over the four season of varsity competition for the Bison.

Host the Bison Staff at Your Fall Clinic

Many high school coaches are looking for clinicians to help kick off their seasons with a great fall clinic. For coaches and athletes this is a cost effective way to have a high quality clinician teach in a smaller group and give your season an exciting kick off. This year the Bison Wrestling Staff is available for several dates to do fall clinics.

These one or two day clinics will help your athletes grow and prepare for the coming season and learn from a staff that has built a program from scratch to a team capable of producing multiple All-Americans and finishing high in the prestigious EIWA Tournament. Our style of wrestling emphasizes a physical constant attack approach with takedowns and the front headlock allowing us to dominate on the feet. On the mat we emphasize the importance of escaping quickly and riding tough in a way to break your opponents will to wrestle late in the match.

Camp Registration and Confirmation Information

We are looking forward to having a great camp this summer and the Bison Staff is excited to have you join us on Bucknell’s campus.

Please find below our camp confirmation information. We must stress the importance of bringing a copy of your insurance card or sending the information to Coach Carr by email also if you have a USA Wrestling membership we need your number.

Thank you for choosing Bison Style wrestling camps for your summer training. Listed below is information regarding check – in/ check-out and other important camp information. What to Bring

1. A copy of your insurance card or please email your information to Coach Carr before the start of camp.

2. Sheets, Blankets, Pillows – The dorms are air conditioned!!!

3. Your USA Wrestling Card (if you have one)

4. Plenty of Workout Gear

5. Towels and Wash Cloths

6. Toiletry Kit

7. Casual Clothes

8. Laundry Bag

9. Alarm Clock

10. Any Medications brought to camp must be registered with the athletic trainer at camp registration

11. Spending Money

Facilities

** There will be a camp store that will offer Wrestling apparel and food after each session. An email will be coming soon with a pre-order form

** There is a laundry mat within walking distance from the dorms. If a camper needs to due their laundry there will be supervised trips to the laundry mat.

Check – In for camp will be on Wednesday July 7th from 10:00am – Noon in Vedders Hall

Check-out

Check – Out for the Jr. High & Sr. High camp will beging on Sunday July 11th from 10 to Noon

For the Jr. High Sr. High camp check in will be at Vedder Hall. This is the hall where you will be housed. A campus map is available at http://www.bucknell.edu/map/ for your convenience. Wrestling sessions will be held at the Gerhard Field house and meals will be served at the Elaine Langone Center.
